Timothy Dolby was trained at Central St Martins & Camberwell Art College and has worked almost exclusively on decorative solutions for the listed & institutional building sector ever since. 

History, colour & scale inhabit his work, and these characteristics support his fundamental joy and innate loyalty to the core architecture and original vision.

Commissions often comprise of single room schemes which will be informed by his thorough, experiential understanding of traditional methodologies, techniques and skills.

Past projects include many iconic and nationally important institutional & historic buildings  - both public & private - where the central aesthetic is defined and informed by a profound understanding of the complex relationship between colour, space & the built environment.
